グローバル化がさらに進むにつれて異文化・言語を理解し、交流する機会はさらに拡張していくと思われるが、翻訳という特定の業界は、さまざまなファクターの中で特に機械化と競合している部分もあり、厳しい。
今週の形容詞【extravagant】
This week’s adjective is “extravagant”, and it is used to talk about a person who often spends a lot of money.
It can also be used to talk about a particular purchase in which someone spends more money than is necessary.
For example:
“My sister is such an extravagant person. She always spends a lot of money to get things of the best quality.”
